Because of His atoning experience in mortality, our Savior is able to comfort, heal, and strengthen all men and women everywhere, but I believe He does so only for those who seek Him and ask for His help.

The Apostle James taught, “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up” (James 4:10).

We qualify for that blessing when we believe in Him and pray for His help. — Dallin H. Oaks

Some of Satan’s most appealing lines are “Everyone does it”; “If it doesn’t hurt anybody else, it’s all right”; “If you feel all right about it, it’s OK”; or “It’s the ‘in’ thing to do.”

These subtle entreaties make Satan the great imitator, the master deceiver, the arch counterfeiter, and the great forger.

We all have an inner braking system that will stop us before we follow Satan too far down the wrong road. It is the still, small voice which is within us.

But once we have succumbed, the braking system begins to leak brake fluid and our stopping mechanism becomes weak and ineffective. — James E. Faust

Remember that we are the parents and leaders of tomorrow. Although these tips can help in your efforts to overcome pornography, don’t be afraid to turn to other resources as well.

Everybody’s journey to recovery looks different. Find what helps you. Don’t give up. Take this one day at a time. You can do this. You truly can (see Philippians 4:13). And you will become who you were meant to be.

Have you ever felt like you are running from home?

Often, running from home means trust has been frayed or broken—trust with ourselves, with each other, with God. When trust is challenged, we wonder how to trust again.

My message is, whether we are coming home or going home, God is coming to meet us.

In Him we can find faith and courage, wisdom and discernment to trust again.

Likewise, He asks us to keep the light on for each other, to be more forgiving and less judgmental of ourselves and each other, so His Church can be a place where we feel at home, whether we are coming for the first time or returning. - Gerrit W. Gong
