When we have felt, or feel, uncertain, alone, frustrated, angry, let down, disappointed, or estranged from God and His restored Church, it may take an extra measure of effort and faith to enter again on His covenant path. But it is worth it! Please come, or come again, unto the Lord Jesus Christ!

Godโ€™s love is stronger than the cords of deathโ€”temporal or spiritual. Our Saviorโ€™s Atonement is infinite and eternal. Each of us strays and falls short. We may, for a time, lose our way. God lovingly assures us, no matter where we are or what we have done, there is no point of no return. He waits ready to embrace us. โ€” Gerrit W. Gong

Loved this talk. This is so true!

The Lord is much more pleased with the person who prays and then goes to work than with the person who only prays. Much like medicine, prayer works only when we use it as directed.

โ€œIt isn't as bad as you sometimes think it is. It all works out. Don't worry. I say that to myself every morning. It all works out in the end. Put your trust in God, and move forward with faith and confidence in the future. The Lord will not forsake us. He will not forsake us. If we will put our trust in Him, if we will pray to Him, if we will live worthy of His blessings, He will hear our prayers.โ€ โ€• Gordon B. Hinckley
Our target wedding date was 16th May but due to the pandemic we had it moved at a later date. During this time, I witnessed how God made the impossible possible.

A month before our supposed wedding, National Capital Region was on a lock down. I felt hopeless and thought we'd move our wedding next year. I came from Oriental Mindoro while Marvin is from Valenzuela. Upon sharing my thoughts to him, Marvin cheerfully told me his personal revelation. He said that the temple would soon open for us.

When the announcement came that the Manila temple would reopen, we immediately booked our wedding on Marvin's birthday on July 11.

We had no fancy wedding setup but we made it to be sealed together forever in the house of the Lord. Our parents were not present on our wedding day in adherence to protocol endorsed by the local government.

I learned to "look unto (Him) in every thought; doubt not, fear not". Having been sealed to someone you dearly love is the happiest thing I've ever felt. We experienced a lot of challenges but we worked together until we finally made it.
