Heavenly Father’s plan of happiness invites us to be humbly at peace on our life’s journey to someday become perfected in Christ,14 not constantly worried, frustrated, or unhappy in our imperfections today. I was a member of the church since the first time I opened my eyes. Growing up, I became converted through reading, listening and applying the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. I came to know what our Heavenly Father wants me to be by reading the scriptures, praying and exercising my faith.

I always have that desire in my heart since I was in Primary to go and serve as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. But, knowing the teachings of the Church, I counseled with the Lord in all my doings.

I prayed with a sincere heart about my decision. Then I came across 2 Nephi 16: 8-10 wherein the Lord asked Isaiah whom He shall send. Isaiah answered "Here am I; send me".

I was reading through these verses with tears. I knew that the Lord was calling me to serve. He needs me to serve His children, help them receive the restored gospel to be with their families for eternity and live again in the presence of our Father in heaven.

The challenges I faced in life have strengthened me and my testimony. I have learned how to press forward and endure to the end. I know that if we let ourselves draw nearer to the Savior, He will lead us and guide us.

I testify that our Heavenly Father and our Savior love each of us. God calls a prophet until today to guide us. I testify that the Book of Mormon is true and there is power in reading it. I know that He is always there and will always be with us. I know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet of God. I know that "if ye have the desire to serve God, ye are called to the work" (Doctrine and Covenants 4:3).
