God’s love is stronger than the cords of death—temporal or spiritual. Our Savior’s Atonement is infinite and eternal. Each of us strays and falls short. We may, for a time, lose our way. God lovingly assures us, no matter where we are or what we have done, there is no point of no return. He waits ready to embrace us. — Gerrit W. Gong

A month before our supposed wedding, National Capital Region was on a lock down. I felt hopeless and thought we'd move our wedding next year. I came from Oriental Mindoro while Marvin is from Valenzuela. Upon sharing my thoughts to him, Marvin cheerfully told me his personal revelation. He said that the temple would soon open for us.
When the announcement came that the Manila temple would reopen, we immediately booked our wedding on Marvin's birthday on July 11.
We had no fancy wedding setup but we made it to be sealed together forever in the house of the Lord. Our parents were not present on our wedding day in adherence to protocol endorsed by the local government.
I learned to "look unto (Him) in every thought; doubt not, fear not". Having been sealed to someone you dearly love is the happiest thing I've ever felt. We experienced a lot of challenges but we worked together until we finally made it.
