Eating with family, preparing to face an ordinary day with family, having recreational activities that we do with family are priceless, memorable and fun. We want our family members to be safe, to be kind and loving to one another and enjoy each other’s company. Would you believe that this wish list can be granted when you ask in faith as a family?

Baptism is a common and familiar ordinance to Christians, but have you heard about "Baptism for the Dead"?

We are now on the 7th episode of Faith in Focus. Stephanie will tell us how and why we, the members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, baptize our loved ones who have passed away.

Our dead ancestors are as important as our loved ones who are currently with us on earth. This is why we put so much effort and value even if they've long gone before us.

I hope that everyone can understand that there is not a “perfect prayer.” We do not have to follow a specific kind of pattern or verbiage.

The one thing that is required is the heart—the real desire to receive what the Lord would have us receive.

Our commitment to act on His promptings is what really draws forth His voice and His direction.

Even when you are being as sincere as is possible, you may not get the immediate response from the Lord that you were expecting.

It comes at His discretion and according to His will. We must be sincere, having the patience and the humility to wait for God to respond...

Sometimes we wait a long time; other times it is almost instantaneous. — D. Todd Christofferson
